The BackingStore used in both the SAML AbstractMetadataResolver and OIDC resolver conform to the same API (with a generics abstraction), seems like an Interface and injectable implementation could be used. Although the same would have to apply to the dynamic and batch backing store implementations - if they are generalisable across protocols.
