As per this thread: http://marc.info/?t=133969155000011, it would be useful to deployers and implementors to have WARN or INFO-level logging indicating when a setting is not recommended for production use.   This will allow reasonable defaults in the distribution for things like cookieProps and handlerSSL, but make it clear that these defaults are not typically suitable for production.
