After further inspection, shouldn't there also be an ObjectProvider (Impl, Marshaller and Unmarsheller in {{org.opensaml.xml.schema.impl}} and the appropriate entry in {{schema-config.xml}}) for XSBoolean ?

> The interface XSBoolean does not define it's local name and QName, i.e. it's missing the folowing statements:
> {code:title=XSBoolean.java}
> (...)
> /** Local name of the XSI type. */
> public static final String TYPE_LOCAL_NAME = "boolean";
>
> /** QName of the XSI type. */
> public static final QName TYPE_NAME = new QName(XMLConstants.XSD_NS, TYPE_LOCAL_NAME, XMLConstants.XSD_PREFIX);
> (...)
> {code}
