Develop an action that finalizes the authentication process.  This includes:
* ensuring that either an authenticated principal or an authentication exception has been set
* marking the the completion time for the authentication process

  was:Develop an action that checks to ensure that authentication has completed successfully.  Successful in this case means that either the attempted authentication workflow succeeded and produced a principal or the workflow failed and produced an error.
