The Shibboleth Project has released a patch for the logging library
used in the Service Provider software, version 1.0.6 [1]

This corrects an issue with file handle leakage. [2]

The Windows rebuild with this fix will be done as part of the upcoming
Shibboleth 2.5.2 release next month, but I wanted to make the patch
available for other platforms as soon as testing was done. The issue
affects non-Windows platforms more anyway.

Packages have been published and the macport has been updated.
