FYI: Red Hat / CentOS 4 EOL

For those using the Shibboleth SP on RH/CentOS 4, please be aware that we
are about 6 months away from the vendor End of Life date, Feb 29th, 2012.
At that time, public updates cease, and the Shibboleth Project will
discontinue official support for this platform.

The existing packages may be removed at that time. Unofficial
compatibility via building packages from source is likely for some time to
come, but is not guaranteed (similar to the current situation with Red Hat
3), so you should expect issues going forward.

Deployers are urged to get their systems upgraded to newer Red Hat or Cent
OS versions before the EOL date.
