SWITCH

SWITCH is synonymous with the networking of Swiss academia. SWITCH offers high-performance network connecting Internet users in Switzerland with one another, as well as with Europe and the rest of the world.

"SWITCH is opening up the knowledge area" - these seven words set out the vision that SWITCH has for the future in its Strategy 2020. The route to achieving this is characterised by a mission to strengthen and integrate the Swiss universities in international terms: by developing pioneering internet services for them which give students, lecturers and researchers here a technological lead.

Clareity has developed a suite of world-class products to meet the unique needs of real estate brokers, MLSs, and technology vendors.

Clareity's SSO, security, and compliance management products and services help MLS organizations and real estate professionals easily and effectively integrate, manage and safeguard sensitive consumer information against unauthorized access and provides efficiency solutions and revenue assurance for high value subscription services. Clareity Security is the creator of Safe Syndication™, the leading listing syndication and IDX/VOW compliance management tool for brokerages and MLS organizations. The company recently added an SSO Portal for over 100 real estate applications that is used daily by hundreds of thousands of real estate professionals. The SSO Portal led to the development of the Clareity Application Store, a secure e-commerce solution, for purchase of real estate applications and information subscription services.

Gakunin

The Academic Access Management Federation in Japan (GakuNin) is a federation consisting of universities, who are users of academic e-resources, and organizations like publishers, who are providers of such e-resources.

LIGO

The LIGO Scientific Collaboration (LSC) is a group of scientists seeking to make the first direct detection of gravitational waves, use them to explore the fundamental physics of gravity, and develop the emerging field of gravitational wave science as a tool of astronomical discovery. The LSC works toward this goal through research on, and development of techniques for, gravitational wave detection; and the development, commissioning and exploitation of gravitational wave detectors.

Indiana University

Indiana University is a major multi-campus public research institution, grounded in the liberal arts and sciences, and a world leader in professional, medical, and technological education. Indiana University’s mission is to provide broad access to undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education for students throughout Indiana, the United States, and the world, as well as outstanding academic and cultural programs and student services.

RENATER

RENATER is the French National Research and Education Network. It was deployed in the early 90s in order to federate telecommunication infrastructures and middleware services for Research and Education.

University of Vienna

The University of Vienna was founded in 1365 and is the oldest university in the German-speaking world and one of the largest in Central Europe. At present, about 91,000 students are enrolled in more than 180 courses at the University of Vienna. The University of Vienna is also the largest teaching and research institution in Austria with 9,400 employees, 6,700 of whom are scientists and academics.

ACOnet, the Austrian National Research and Education network (NREN), and the ACOnet Identity Federation are operated by the University of Vienna.

NORDUnet

NORDUnet is a joint collaboration by the 5 Nordic National Research and Education Networks in Denmark (Forskningsnettet), Finland (Funet), Iceland (RHnet), Norway (Uninett) and Sweden (SUNET) and operates a world-class Nordic and International network and eInfrastructure service for the Nordic research and educational community.

CSC

CSC — IT Center for Science Ltd is administered by the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture in Finland. CSC is a non-profit company providing IT support and resources for academia, research institutes and companies: modeling, computing and information services. CSC provides Finland's widest selection of scientific software and databases and Finland's most powerful supercomputing environment that researchers can use via the Funet network.

CESNET is the Czech academic network operator and participant of corresponding international projects.

CESNET's main goals are: theoperation and development of the Czech NREN, research and development of advanced network technologies and applications and broadening of public knowledge about advanced networking topics.
